SEE ALSO...

HRF Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HRF protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HRF antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HRF protein, or histamine-releasing factor, is a crucial cytokine-like molecule that stimulates the release of histamine and interleukins from basophils and eosinophils, playing a significant role in allergic responses and inflammation. HRF is part of the translationally controlled tumor protein (TCTP) family and is expressed in a variety of healthy and cancerous cells, including erythrocytes, hepatocytes, and various tumor types. HRF localization in the cytoplasm allows for rapid release and action in response to cellular stimuli, thereby influencing immune responses and potentially contributing to neurodegenerative diseases due to its presence in the brain. Given HRF involvement in critical physiological processes, HRF monoclonal antibody (B-3) serves as an essential tool for scientists studying allergic diseases and neurodegenerative disorders in these complex biological systems.
