HRF Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HRF protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HRF antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HRF protein, or histamine-releasing factor, is a crucial cytokine-like molecule that stimulates the release of histamine and interleukins from basophils and eosinophils, playing a significant role in allergic responses and inflammation. HRF is part of the translationally controlled tumor protein (TCTP) family and is expressed in a variety of healthy and cancerous cells, including erythrocytes, hepatocytes, and various tumor types.
