SEE ALSO...

HoxD1 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HoxD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HoxD1 antibody (H-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HoxD1 protein plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during embryonic development, particularly in anterior-posterior body axis formation. HoxD1 binding to DNA is significantly enhanced through dimerization with PBX homeoproteins, increasing transcriptional activity. This interaction is vital for precise regulation of developmental processes, as HoxD1 is involved in patterning structures such as forelimb and axial skeleton. HoxD1 also interacts with other proteins, including HMG1, which enhances transcriptional activation, while HoxD8 acts as an antagonist, highlighting protein-protein interactions in modulating Hox gene function. Dynamic expression of HoxD1 in presomitic mesoderm and varying levels during diencephalon development underscore a critical role in developmental biology.
