HoxB6 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects HoxB6 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HoxB6 plays a crucial role in the regulation of erythroid progenitor cells, influencing their generation, proliferation, and survival, which is vital for proper hematopoiesis and overall blood cell development. HoxB6 is predominantly expressed in the suprabasal layer of the early developing epidermis and throughout the upper layers of late fetal and adult human skin, highlighting HoxB6′s importance in skin development and homeostasis. Notably, HoxB6 exhibits distinct expression patterns; while HoxB6 is cytoplasmically localized during fetal epidermal development, HoxB6 transitions to nuclear expression in normal adult skin. In pathological conditions, such as hyperproliferative skin disorders, HoxB6 maintains nuclear localization, whereas in basal and squamous cell carcinomas, HoxB6 is predominantly found in the cytoplasm. This dynamic localization underscores HoxB6′s potential role in cellular differentiation and response to environmental cues, making HoxB6 a significant marker for studying skin development and related diseases.
