    SEE ALSO...

hnRNP Q Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q (hnRNP Q) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). hnRNP Q plays a pivotal role in RNA processing and is essential for efficient pre-mRNA splicing, a critical step in posttranscriptional regulation of gene expression. hnRNP Q is widely expressed across various tissues and is developmentally regulated, highlighting importance in cellular function and differentiation. hnRNP Q interacts with survival motor neuron protein (SMN), and disruptions in this interaction due to SMN function loss are linked to spinal muscular atrophy, a prevalent neurodegenerative disorder. hnRNP Q exhibits a unique expression pattern, being upregulated after midnight, which correlates with a decline in AANAT, the key enzyme involved in melatonin synthesis. This rhythmic regulation implicates hnRNP Q in the modulation of circadian rhythms, emphasizing significance in both gene expression and biological cycle maintenance.
