SEE ALSO...

hnRNP H3 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP H3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-hnRNP H3 antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein H3, also known as hnRNP 2H9, is a crucial player in RNA processing, consisting of 346 amino acids and featuring two RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains that facilitate binding to single-stranded RNA. hnRNP H3 is particularly important in regulating pre-mRNA splicing and responding to heat shock, where hnRNP H3 plays a role in splicing arrest. Six isoforms of hnRNP H3 are generated through alternative splicing, allowing for functional diversity in RNA metabolism. hnRNP H3 predominantly resides in the nucleus, where hnRNP H3 interacts with other hnRNPs, such as hnRNP F, to bind to poly(rG) regions on RNA, thereby influencing mRNA stability and transport. The ability of hnRNP H3 to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm underscores hnRNP H3′s significance in post-transcriptional regulation, making anti-hnRNP H3 antibody (D-4) an essential tool for researchers studying RNA biology and gene expression.
