SEE ALSO...

hnRNP F Antibody (3H4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP F of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-hnRNP F antibody (3H4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein F (hnRNP F) plays a crucial role in regulating pre-mRNA processing and transport, binding to heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) produced by RNA polymerase II. hnRNP F is particularly important for involvement in the spliceosome, interacting with other splicing factors to influence splice site selection and pre-mRNA maturation. Notably, hnRNP F and its closely related counterpart, hnRNP H, preferentially associate with poly(rG) regions on RNA, essential for regulating gene expression and mRNA stability. hnRNP F shuttles between the nucleus and cytoplasm to participate in various cellular processes, including mRNA transport and localization. Additionally, hnRNP F undergoes post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation and methylation, which can affect function and interactions with other proteins, highlighting a dynamic role in cellular regulation.
