hnRNP A1 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects hnRNP A1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). hnRNP A1 plays a crucial role in regulating pre-mRNA splicing and transporting mRNA from nucleus to cytoplasm, making hnRNP A1 essential for gene expression and cellular function. hnRNP A1 is primarily localized in the nucleoplasm, where hnRNP A1 interacts with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) and other splicing factors to form ribonucleoprotein complexes vital for spliceosome activity. Proper functioning of hnRNP A1 is important not only for normal cellular processes but also for modulating alternative splicing, which can influence gene expression and production of different protein isoforms.
