SEE ALSO...

hnRNP A1 Antibody (4B10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP A1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-hnRNP A1 antibody (4B10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 (hnRNP A1) plays a crucial role in regulating pre-mRNA processing and is essential for mRNA stability and transport. Located primarily in the nucleus, hnRNP A1 interacts with pre-mRNA and influences splice site selection, thereby modulating gene expression. hnRNP A1 forms complexes with other hnRNP proteins and splicing factors, which are vital for spliceosome assembly, the molecular machinery responsible for splicing introns from pre-mRNA. hnRNP A1′s ability to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm enables participation in various stages of mRNA metabolism, making hnRNP A1 a key player in post-transcriptional regulation. hnRNP A1′s involvement in mRNA transport and stability underscores its importance in maintaining proper gene expression and cellular function, particularly in response to stress and during development.

Can I use this mouse monoclonal antibody for immunohistochemical staining of mouse tissue? Or even double or triple staining on the same samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes. We recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is currently available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-32301 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-32301 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-32301 AF488) or Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-32301 AF647). Please contact Technical Service if you have further questions concerning this product.
