hnRNP A/B Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP A/B of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-hnRNP A/B antibody (G-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A/B (hnRNP A/B), also known as HNRNPAB, ABBP1, or HNRPAB, is a crucial 332 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a significant role in pre-mRNA processing and transport, as well as binding to heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) produced by RNA polymerase II. hnRNP A/B is predominantly located in the nucleus, where hnRNP A/B interacts with pre-mRNAs and influences various aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport, making hnRNP A/B essential for gene expression regulation. Notably, hnRNP A/B contains two RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains, which facilitate binding to single-stranded RNA, particularly in G-rich and U-rich regions, and hnRNP A/B has been shown to interact with APOBEC1, an enzyme involved in RNA editing. This interaction highlights hnRNP A/B′s importance in post-transcriptional regulation and potential implications in various cellular processes and diseases.
