HNF-6 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HNF-6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HNF-6 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HNF-6, also known as ONECUT1 or one cut homeobox 1, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression in the liver and other tissues, contributing to endodermal cell development and differentiation. HNF-6 regulates several hepatocyte-enriched genes essential for liver function and metabolic processes. Research shows HNF-6 binds to HNF-3β promoter, suggesting a significant role in gut endoderm epithelial cell differentiation. HNF-6 acts as a transcriptional activator for at least 22 other hepatocyte-enriched genes, including cytochrome P450 2C13 and α-1 antitrypsin, maintaining liver homeostasis and metabolic regulation. HNF-6 interaction with other hepatocyte nuclear factor family members, such as HNF-1 and HNF-4, coordinates complex gene regulatory networks essential for proper organ development and function.
