HNF-3α/β Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 3 alpha and beta, also known as FOXA1 and FOXA2, respectively, in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), PAR assays, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HNF-3α/β antibody (E-4) targets a specific epitope mapping between amino acids 445-473 at the C-terminus of human HNF-3α, ensuring precise recognition of both HNF-3α and HNF-3β proteins. HNF-3α and HNF-3β are critical members of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family, playing essential roles in regulating gene expression during embryonic development and in maintaining the functionality of adult tissues. These transcription factors are pivotal in liver development, influencing the transcription of numerous hepatocyte-specific genes, and are also involved in the differentiation and development of other organs such as the pancreas and lungs.
