SEE ALSO...

HLA-DR Antibody (L243) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody engineered to recognize the nonpolymorphic HLA-DR epitope 1-3 on human B lymphocytes. Known also as human leukocyte antigen DR or MHC class II DR, HLA-DR plays a pivotal role in the immune system by presenting antigenic peptides to CD4+ T helper cells, thereby initiating and regulating immune responses essential for pathogen defense and immune surveillance. HLA-DR monoclonal antibody (L243) exhibits exclusive reactivity with HLA-DR molecules, ensuring no cross-reactivity with HLA-DQ or HLA-DP, which enhances precision in various immunological assays. Available in both conjugated and unconjugated forms, anti-HLA-DR antibody (L243) is versatile for applications including immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM), making this tool indispensable for researchers studying immune cell function and antigen presentation. The nonpolymorphic nature of the targeted epitope allows for consistent and reliable detection of HLA-DR across different human samples, facilitating comparative studies and clinical diagnostics. Understanding HLA-DR expression is crucial in fields such as autoimmune disease research, transplantation immunology, and cancer immunotherapy, where antigen presentation and T cell activation are fundamental processes. By utilizing anti-HLA-DR antibody (L243), scientists can gain deeper insights into the mechanisms of immune activation and regulation, ultimately contributing to the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
