    SEE ALSO...

HLA-DP Antibody (OX76) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody, engineered to target the HLA-DP molecule, also known as Human Leukocyte Antigen DP or HLA-DPB. Anti-HLA-DP antibody (OX76) recognizes an epitope derived from RT1Bac of rat origin, enabling effective detection of HLA-DP in both mouse and rat species through flow cytometry (FCM). HLA-DP is a pivotal member of the Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) class II family, responsible for presenting antigenic peptides to CD4+ helper T cells, which is essential for initiating and regulating adaptive immune responses. Post-translational modifications, particularly glycosylation, are critical for HLA-DP as they ensure proper protein folding, stability, and surface expression, thereby facilitating efficient antigen presentation and immune recognition. HLA-DP monoclonal antibody (OX76) serves as an indispensable tool for researchers investigating immune system functions, autoimmune disorders, and transplant biology, where HLA-DP expression and regulation play a significant role. By targeting a key molecule involved in immune modulation, anti-HLA-DP antibody (OX76) supports the advancement of immunological research and the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at manipulating MHC class II pathways.

How can HLA-DP (OX76): sc-53077 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53077 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53077 FITC).
