HIC-1 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects HIC-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HIC-1 Antibody (H-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HIC-1 (H-6) antibody targets hypermethylated in cancer 1, a crucial putative tumor suppressor that mediates transcriptional repression and influences cellular processes vital for maintaining normal cell function. HIC-1 expression is often suppressed in various cancers, including leukemia, due to hypermethylation of specific DNA regions, leading to transcriptional silencing.
