Hep B sAg Antibody (1025) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Hep B sAg of Hepatitis B by western blotting (WB). Hep B sAg is a crucial protein antigen produced by the Hepatitis B virus, which is a member of the Hepadnavirus family and is responsible for causing significant liver inflammation, jaundice, and in severe cases, death. The presence of Hep B sAg in the bloodstream serves as one of the earliest indicators of Hepatitis B infection, often appearing before any clinical symptoms manifest.
