Hep B sAg Antibody (1023) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Hep B sAg protein of Hep B origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Hep B sAg monoclonal antibody (1023) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Hepatitis B virus (HBV), a member of the Hepadnavirus family, is notorious for causing liver inflammation, jaundice, and in severe cases, death. One of the critical aspects of Hep B sAg protein is its role as a surface antigen that is released into the bloodstream during infection, serving as an early marker of HBV presence, often detectable even before clinical symptoms manifest.
