Helios Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a light chain antibody that detects Helios in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Helios (H-1) antibody recognizes a crucial member of the Ikaros family of transcription factors, which play a significant role in T cell development and activation. Helios (H-1) monoclonal antibody targets a protein primarily located in the nucleus, where Helios interacts with DNA and other transcriptional regulators to modulate gene expression essential for T cell differentiation and function. Nuclear localization of Helios enables precise control over transcriptional programs governing immune responses, particularly in T cells, where Helios helps maintain the balance between activation and tolerance. Helios forms homodimers and heterodimers with other Ikaros family members, enhancing regulatory capabilities and contributing to immune signaling pathway complexity. Anti-Helios antibody (H-1) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying T cell biology and immune regulation mechanisms, particularly given Helios′s influence on T cell fate decisions in normal immune function and disease pathogenesis, including autoimmune disorders and cancers.
