    SEE ALSO...

Headpin Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Headpin in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Headpin antibody (H-7) is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Headpin, also known as hurpin or serpinB13, is a skin-specific serine proteinase inhibitor that plays a crucial role in regulating proteolytic activity in the skin, which is vital for maintaining skin integrity and homeostasis. Headpin (H-7) antibody targets a protein that is particularly abundant in the human keratinocyte cell line HaCaT and is found in lesional keratinocytes from psoriatic skin, highlighting its importance in skin health and disease. Notably, downregulation of Headpin has been observed in squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity and in squamous cell carcinoma cell lines from the head and neck, suggesting its potential role as a biomarker for skin cancer progression and a target for therapeutic intervention.
