SEE ALSO...

HAT1 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HAT1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HAT1 (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HAT1 plays a crucial role in the acetylation of histones, which is essential for the regulation of gene expression. Specifically, anti-HAT1 antibody (H-7) targets a protein involved in the acetylation of lysine residues on histone tails, leading to structural changes in chromatin that enhance the accessibility of transcription factors to DNA. This process is vital for transcriptional activation, as HAT1 allows for the proper expression of genes necessary for various cellular functions. Conversely, the deacetylation of histones is linked to transcriptional repression, highlighting HAT1′s importance in maintaining the balance of gene expression. Additionally, HAT1 interacts with several other proteins involved in chromatin remodeling, including GCN5 and p300, further underscoring HAT1′s significance in the complex regulatory networks that govern cellular processes.
