HA-1 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HA-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HA-1 (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HA-1, also known as minor histocompatibility protein HA-1, plays a crucial role in immune response by interacting with major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules, which are essential for presenting foreign peptides to cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This interaction is vital for minor histocompatibility antigen recognition by T-cells, thereby influencing immune response during transplantation and tumor recognition. HA-1 is a 1,136 amino acid GTPase activator of Rho-type GTPases, predominantly expressed in dendritic cells, epidermal Langerhans cells, hematopoietic cells, and various leukemia and lymphoma cell lines, as well as in solid tissues and tumors. HA-1 is highly phosphorylated and contains one Rho-GAP domain along with a single phorbol-ester/DAG-type zinc finger, and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 19p13.3. HA-1 modulates Rho GTPase activity, highlighting its importance in cellular signaling pathways that regulate immune responses and cellular dynamics.
