    SEE ALSO...

H2-Kk Antibody (AF3-12.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the H2-Kk protein of mouse origin by flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-H2-Kk antibody (AF3-12.1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. H2-Kk is a crucial component of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, which play a vital role in the immune response by presenting endogenous peptides to cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs). This presentation is essential for the recognition and elimination of infected or malignant cells, thereby maintaining cellular integrity and immune surveillance. H2-Kk is predominantly expressed on the surface of L929 fibroblasts, and interaction with T cell receptors is critical for the activation of CTLs, which are pivotal in orchestrating adaptive immunity. The structural characteristics of H2-Kk, including association with β-2-Microglobulin, enable effective binding and presentation of a diverse array of peptide antigens, making H2-Kk an important target for studies related to immune response and potential therapeutic interventions.
