H2-Kk Antibody (AF3-12.1) is a high quality monoclonal H2-Kk antibody (also designated H2-Kk antibody) suitable for the detection of the H2-Kk protein of mouse origin. H2-Kk Antibody (AF3-12.1) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-H2-Kk antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-H2-Kk antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules, which include human leukocyte antigens (HLAs), form an integral part of the immune response system. They are cell-surface receptors that bind foreign peptides and present them to cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs). MHC class I molecules consist of two polypeptide chains: an a or heavy chain, and a non-covalently associated protein, b-2-Microglobulin. MHC class II molecules consist of a non-covalent complex of an a and b chain. The differential structural properties of MHC class I and class II molecules account for their respective roles in activating different populations of T lymphocytes. H2-Kk is a mouse MHC class I protein that is highly expressed on L929 fibroblasts.
