GRK 7 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects GRK 7 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GRK 7 antibody (C-2) is available as a non-conjugated format. GRK 7 plays a crucial role in regulating G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling, which is essential for various physiological processes, including vision, neurotransmission, and hormone response. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, GRK 7 is recruited to the membrane upon activation of target receptors, where GRK 7 phosphorylates them, leading to receptor desensitization and internalization. This process is vital for maintaining cellular responsiveness to external signals, as GRK 7 prevents overstimulation and allows for the fine-tuning of signaling pathways. GRK 7′s ability to modulate receptor activity underscores its importance in pharmacology and therapeutic interventions, particularly in conditions where GPCR signaling is dysregulated.
