Grim19 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Grim19 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Grim19 antibody (F-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Grim19, also known as gene associated with retinoic-interferon-induced mortality 19 protein, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in apoptosis regulation. As a member of mitochondrial complex I, Grim19 (F-10) antibody recognizes a protein essential for complex assembly and electron transfer activity, which is vital for cellular respiration and energy production. Through facilitating electron transfer from NADH to the respiratory chain, Grim19 supports mitochondrial function and participates in the interferon/all-trans-retinoic acid (IFN/RA) cell death pathway, highlighting a dual role in energy metabolism and apoptosis. Grim19′s ability to move from mitochondrion to nucleus upon IFN/RA treatment underscores significance in cellular signaling and potential as a therapeutic target. This multifaceted functionality positions Grim19 as a promising candidate for research in cancer biology and drug development.
