Datasheets
  • GRB2 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 1-68 mapping at the N-terminus of GRB2 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of GRB2 of mouse, rat, human and avian origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine, porcine and avian
  • See GRB2 (C-7): sc-8034 for GRB2 antibody conjugates, including AC, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, 594, 647, 680 and 790.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG1 BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for GRB2 Antibody (F-3) for WB and IHC(P) applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with GRB2 Antibody (F-3) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

GRB2 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects GRB2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GRB2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of growth factor receptor signaling, which is essential for normal cellular functions such as proliferation, differentiation, and survival. GRB2 acts as an adaptor that links activated receptor tyrosine kinases, like the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), to downstream signaling molecules, thereby facilitating the activation of Ras and other pathways involved in cell growth and development. GRB2′s importance is underscored by its involvement in embryogenesis, where GRB2 is necessary for the differentiation of endodermal cells and the formation of the epiblast, highlighting its critical role in early developmental processes. With its ability to interact with various signaling proteins, GRB2 maintains cellular homeostasis and responds to external growth signals, making anti-GRB2 antibody (F-3) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these vital processes.

Can GRB2 (F-3): sc-137074 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. Yes, GRB2 (F-3): sc-137074 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
