SEE ALSO...

Granzyme M Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects granzyme M protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-granzyme M antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Granzyme M, also known as NK cell granular protease or HU-Met-1, is a serine protease that plays a crucial role in the immune response by localizing to the granules of natural killer (NK) cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This protein is characterized by its unique Trypsin-fold serine protease structure, which allows cleavage of peptide substrates specifically after leucine, norleucine, or methionine residues. Granzyme M′s ability to induce target cell death is vital for effective cell-mediated immune responses, as granzyme M contributes to the elimination of infected or malignant cells. Additionally, granzyme M′s interactions with other granzyme family members, such as granzyme A and granzyme B, highlight granzyme M′s importance in the apoptotic signaling pathways activated by cytotoxic lymphocytes. Using granzyme M monoclonal antibody (A-10) in research can provide valuable insights into immune regulation mechanisms and granzyme M′s role in apoptosis.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with granzyme M (A-10): sc-376799 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend fixing cells for 5 minutes in -10°C methanol and allowing to air dry. The full protocol can be viewed here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
