SEE ALSO...

GPR175 Antibody (6H2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects GPR175 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GPR175 (6H2) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. GPR175, also known as TPRA40 or PP6566, is a 373 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes as a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. These receptors are integral to the transmission of extracellular signals into the cell, facilitating responses to hormones and neurotransmitters. GPR175 modulates intracellular signaling pathways, which can influence numerous biological functions, including mood regulation and metabolic processes. The gene encoding GPR175 is located on human chromosome 3 and expresses multiple alternatively spliced isoforms, highlighting potential diverse functional roles in different tissues. Widespread expression of GPR175 across various cell types underscores significance in maintaining cellular communication and response mechanisms, making anti-GPR175 antibody (6H2) an essential tool for researchers studying intricate signaling networks in health and disease.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works by western blot of transfected andWorks by western blot of transfected and endogenous Gpr175 (50kDa with glycosylation, 37kDa following PNGase F treatment), with a couple of background bands (data not published). Also works for IF (MeOH, PFA/TX-100) of transfected human and mouse Gpr175, as well as endogenous Gpr175 in primary cilia of C3H10T.5 cells. (Figure 3 of Singh et al 2015 J Biol Chem. 2015 Oct 8. pii: jbc.M115.665810). However, antibody is very sensitive to storage, as after a couple of months, it stops seeing endogenous ciliary staining, but still works on transfected (two lots)
