GOLPH4 Antibody (XY-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects GOLPH4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GOLPH4 antibody (XY-2) is available as the non-conjugated format. GOLPH4, also known as GOLIM4, GIMPC, GPP130, or P138, is a crucial 696 amino acid single-pass type II membrane protein that resides in the Golgi apparatus, specifically localizing to the Golgi stack membrane and the cis and medial Golgi cisternae. GOLPH4 plays a vital role in mediating protein trafficking along the late endosome-bypass pathway, which is essential for the efficient transport of proteins from the early endosome to the Golgi. GOLPH4 features a large C-terminal luminal domain containing potential N- and O-glycosylation sites, which are critical for function and stability. Additionally, GOLPH4′s short N-terminal tail includes a phosphorylation site that may regulate activity and interactions with other proteins, highlighting the significance of post-translational modifications in its role within the Golgi apparatus.

I am using GOLPH4 (XY-2): sc-101054 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
