GM130 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects GM130 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GM130 monoclonal antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GM130 and Giantin compete for binding to p115, suggesting these interactions mediate distinct membrane tethering events vital for Golgi integrity and function. GM130 undergoes mitotic phosphorylation at Serine 25, regulated by Cdc2, disrupting p115 binding and contributing to Golgi fragmentation during mitosis. This phosphorylation ensures proper Golgi disassembly and reassembly during cell division, underscoring GM130′s importance in cellular organization and function.
