I am seeing two bands using this antibody against primary human blood derived monocytes. Have other users observed two bands? The second is at a higher molecular weight of about 100kDa. Is this an interaction with GIPC1?

Thank you for your question. We have not tested this antibody in primary human blood derived monocytes. The expected molecular weight of Glut1 is approximately 55 kDa. We have not observed, or characterized a higher molecular weight band around 100 kDa. Glut1 Antibody (H-43) is a rabbit polyclonal that is now discontinued. The antibody has been cited in the literature 38 times, and those citations are still available on our website if you wish to consult them as a reference.
