GluR-1 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to target the GluR-1 protein, also known as GRIA1 or Glutamate receptor AMPA type 1. GluR-1 monoclonal antibody (E-6) recognizes an epitope within amino acids 33-51 near the N-terminus of human GluR-1, ensuring reliable detection across multiple species, including mouse, rat, and human. GluR-1 is a crucial subunit of AMPA-type ionotropic glutamate receptors, which are responsible for mediating the majority of fast excitatory neurotransmission in the central nervous system.
