SEE ALSO...

ghrelin Antibody (2F4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ghrelin protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ghrelin antibody (2F4) is available as a non-conjugated format. Ghrelin, often referred to as the "hunger hormone," plays a vital role in regulating energy balance and appetite by stimulating growth hormone release from the pituitary gland. This acylated peptide is primarily produced in the stomach and influences various physiological processes, including glucose metabolism and gastrointestinal motility. Ghrelin′s interaction with growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R) is crucial for function, as this interaction not only promotes growth hormone release but also modulates appetite and energy expenditure. The gene encoding ghrelin is located on human chromosome 3p26-p25, and expression is tightly regulated, making ghrelin an important target for research in metabolic disorders and obesity. ghrelin monoclonal antibody (2F4) is an essential tool for scientists studying the intricate mechanisms of appetite regulation and growth hormone signaling pathways.

how much ml is contained in one bottle and how many samples i can stain with with one ml ??

Asked by: bheema
Thank you for your question. We provide this antibody as 200 ug in 1 ml. The number of samples you can stain with this amount of antibody is dependent upon your working volume for your research application. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50 for immunohistochemistry or immunofluorescence.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good antibodyA good antibody for paraffin-embedded tissues. In particular, we used it intestinal sections without antigen retrieval. In a next experiment we'll try to add the retrieval and we think the result will be better.
