    SEE ALSO...

Gγ 9 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the G gamma 9 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Gγ 9 antibody (H-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. G gamma 9 protein plays a crucial role in the function of heterotrimeric G proteins, which are essential for transmitting signals from cell surface receptors to intracellular effectors. These proteins are involved in a wide array of physiological processes, as they relay information in response to diverse extracellular stimuli such as hormones, neurotransmitters, and sensory signals. G gamma 9 subunit contributes to the specificity and diversity of G protein signaling pathways by forming distinct complexes with various alpha and beta subunits, thereby influencing downstream effects on cellular responses. Understanding G gamma 9 interactions and regulatory mechanisms is vital for elucidating its role in health and disease, making Gγ 9 monoclonal antibody (H-11) an invaluable tool for researchers studying G protein signaling pathways.

I used this Antibody and it worked. However, I need an explanation because the band MW is ~21K and Ggamma 9 MW should be ~8K? Thanks in advance.

    Asked by: MKHATER
Thank you for your question. This is consistent with the molecular weight we observed in the cell lines tested. Unfortunately, we do not have a reference to share at this time for this higher than predicted molecular weight. However, it is possible that this higher molecular weight is due to protein-protein interactions with the Ggamma chain.

Are there any issues with using sc-390402: Gγ 9 (H-11) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-390402 conjugates.
