Gγ 2/3/4/7 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects G gamma 2/3/4/7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-G gamma 2/3/4/7 antibody (C-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. G gamma 2/3/4/7 protein plays a crucial role in the function of heterotrimeric G proteins, which are essential for transmitting signals from cell surface receptors to intracellular effectors. G gamma proteins are located on the inner membrane of cells, where they interact with a wide array of receptors that detect diverse extracellular stimuli such as hormones, neurotransmitters, and sensory signals. Proper localization of G gamma proteins is vital for ensuring that signaling pathways are activated in response to specific stimuli, thereby influencing various physiological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and metabolism. G gamma subunits form distinct complexes with different alpha and beta subunits, which enhances the functional diversity of G protein signaling in various tissues. This complexity underscores the importance of G gamma proteins in maintaining cellular communication and response mechanisms, making G gamma 2/3/4/7 (C-5) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying G protein signaling pathways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good AbProteins (30µg) obtained from mice whole-heart homogenates were separated on 10-15% polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and transferred onto nitrocellulose membranes (Amersham Hybond-ECL, GE Healthcare Life Sciences). Membranes were blocked (5% non-fat dry milk in TBST (Tris-buffered saline, 0.1% Tween-20)) before incubation with the primary antibodies diluted in 5% bovine serum albumin-TBST at 4°C overnight. The blots were detected using a Super Signal kit (ThermoFisher Scientific) in a western blotting detection system (LAS-4000, Fujifilm) and quantified by densitometry using Science Lab-2001 Image Gauge (Fujifilm).
