Datasheets
  • GGA3 Antibody (8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ GGA3 antibody, cited in 2 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 424-542 of GGA3 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of GGA3 of human origin by WB, IP and IF
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for GGA3 Antibody (8) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with GGA3 Antibody (8) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

GGA3 Antibody (8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the GGA3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-GGA3 antibody (8) is available as the non-conjugated format. GGA3 (8) antibody recognizes a member of the Golgi-localized, γ-Adaptin ear-containing, ARF-binding protein family, which plays a crucial role in intracellular protein trafficking, specifically facilitating the transport of soluble proteins from the trans-Golgi network to endosomes and lysosomes. This process is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and ensuring that proteins reach their correct destinations, which is essential for various cellular functions, including signaling and metabolism. GGA3 interacts with sorting receptors and clathrin, utilizing its multi-domain structure that includes an N-terminal VHS domain, a GAT domain, a hinge segment, and a C-terminal GAE domain. The VHS domain is particularly important as it recognizes specific sequences on sorting receptors, allowing for the precise sorting of proteins. The human GGA3 gene is located on chromosome 17 and encodes a 723 amino acid protein that shares significant sequence identity with its family members, GGA1 and GGA2, highlighting its evolutionary conservation and functional importance in cellular processes.

I am using GGA3 (8): sc-135923 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
