GFRP Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects GFRP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GFRP antibody (D-11) is available as the non-conjugated form. GTP cyclohydrolase I feedback regulatory protein (GFRP), encoded by the GCHFR gene, plays a crucial role in regulating GTP cyclohydrolase I activity by mediating feedback inhibition through tetrahydrobiopterin. This regulation ensures the proper balance of neurotransmitter synthesis, particularly in dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine production, which are essential for various physiological functions, including mood regulation and cognitive processes.
