GBP1-5 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects GBP1-5 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GBP1-5 (G-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Guanylate-binding proteins (GBP) are critical GTP-binding proteins known for their high-turnover GTPase activity and significant antiviral effects, playing a vital role in the immune response. GBP proteins are primarily located in the cytoplasm and are encoded by interferon-activated genes, which means expression is induced following interferon treatment.
