GATA-5 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects GATA-5 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GATA-5 Antibody (D-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GATA-5 plays a crucial role in the development and differentiation of various tissues, particularly in the heart and gastrointestinal tract, where GATA-5 is involved in regulating gene expression during embryonic development. This transcription factor belongs to the GATA family, characterized by a conserved zinc finger DNA-binding domain that binds to specific DNA sequences, influencing target gene transcription. GATA-5 regulates genes involved in heart morphogenesis and function, making GATA-5 essential for cardiac development. GATA-5 expression requires tight control for proper cardiac tissue development, highlighting GATA-5′s importance in normal physiology and potential pathologies such as congenital heart defects. Understanding GATA-5 function and regulation can provide insights into heart development and associated diseases, making anti-GATA-5 antibody (D-5) a valuable tool for researchers studying cardiovascular biology and related fields.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-373684 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How can i make a normal western band in this oneI cannot make a normal western band by using this antibody, even i use the concentration in 1:1000,1:500 and 1:200. I just get nothing or a very vague band when the secondary antibody was 1:1000. I wish your replay.
