Gastrin Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Gastrin protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Gastrin antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Gastrin, primarily produced by mucosal cells in the gastric antrum and D cells of the pancreatic islets, plays a crucial role as a hormone that stimulates the secretion of hydrochloric acid (HCl) by the gastric mucosa, which is essential for digestion and maintaining an acidic environment in the stomach.
