    SEE ALSO...

γ-parvin Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects gamma-parvin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). γ-parvin monoclonal antibody (G-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Gamma-parvin plays a crucial role in linking integrins and associated proteins to intracellular signaling pathways, which are vital for regulating actin cytoskeletal dynamics and promoting cell survival. Gamma-parvin is localized to focal adhesions, where gamma-parvin interacts with key partners such as integrin-linked kinase (ILK), paxillin, α-actinin, and testicular kinase 1, facilitating essential processes like cell adhesion, spreading, motility, and survival. The interaction between gamma-parvin and ILK is critical for establishing cell polarity, which is necessary for effective leukocyte migration, highlighting gamma-parvin′s importance in immune responses and tissue homeostasis. The parvin family, which includes α-parvin, β-parvin, and γ-parvin, is integral to cellular functions, and understanding parvin family roles can provide insights into various physiological and pathological processes, including cancer progression and tissue repair.
