SEE ALSO...

γ-Actin Antibody (2-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects γ-Actin in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). γ-Actin is a crucial component of the cytoskeleton, playing a vital role in maintaining cell shape, enabling cellular motility, and facilitating intracellular transport. γ-Actin is predominantly found in non-muscle cells, where anti-γ-Actin antibody (2-4) can detect its contribution to the formation of the actin filament network, essential for various cellular processes, including cell division and signal transduction. γ-Actin′s presence in the cytoplasm allows for dynamic remodeling of the cytoskeleton in response to external stimuli, which is critical for processes such as wound healing and immune responses. γ-Actin interacts with a variety of proteins, including myosin, which is essential for muscle contraction and cellular movement, highlighting γ-Actin′s importance in both structural integrity and functional dynamics of cells. γ-Actin monoclonal antibody (2-4) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the intricate roles of actin in cellular functions and its implications in various diseases.

Are there any issues with using sc-65634: γ-Actin (2-4) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-65634 conjugates.
