SEE ALSO...

Gads Antibody (UW40) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Gads protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Gads antibody (UW40) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Gads protein plays a crucial role as an adapter protein, containing both Src homology 2 (SH2) and Src homology 3 (SH3) domains, which are essential for mediating signal transduction pathways. The presence of these domains allows Gads to bind to tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins, such as Shc, effectively linking them to downstream signaling effectors. This interaction is vital for the regulation of cellular responses to growth factors and other stimuli, highlighting the importance of Gads in maintaining proper cellular signaling and function. Furthermore, the SH3 domain′s ability to interact with various proteins underscores its role in the negative regulation of nonreceptor tyrosine kinases, which can prevent uncontrolled cell proliferation and transformation. Gads monoclonal antibody (UW40) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the intricate signaling networks that govern cellular behavior in health and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-73652: Gads (UW40) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-73652 conjugates.
