    SEE ALSO...

GABAA Rδ Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the GABAA R delta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GABAA R delta antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GABAA R delta protein plays a crucial role in the central nervous system as a component of the GABAA receptor, which is essential for mediating inhibitory neurotransmission. GABAA R delta protein is primarily located in the postsynaptic membrane of neurons, where binding with gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) facilitates chloride ion influx, leading to neuron hyperpolarization and decreased neuronal excitability. Proper functioning of GABAA receptors, including GABAA R delta protein, maintains the balance between excitation and inhibition in the brain, which is critical for processes such as anxiety regulation, sleep modulation, and overall neural circuit stability. Dysregulation of GABAA receptor activity has been implicated in various neurological disorders, making anti-GABAA R delta antibody (H-4) an important tool for research into these conditions.
