SEE ALSO...

FXR2 Antibody (1G2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FXR2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-FXR2 antibody (1G2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FXR2, or Fragile X Mental Retardation 2, plays a crucial role in regulating mRNA translation and is essential for neuronal development and function. FXR2 interacts with the FMR1 protein, which is involved in the pathophysiology of Fragile X syndrome, the most common form of inherited intellectual disability. FXR2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where FXR2 associates with polyribosomes, facilitating the translation of specific mRNAs that are vital for synaptic plasticity and neuronal signaling. Proper localization and function of FXR2 are critical, as dysregulation can lead to impaired cognitive functions and contribute to the severity of Fragile X syndrome. Using FXR2 (1G2) antibody in your research can provide valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these neurological conditions and explore potential therapeutic targets.
