FUS/TLS Antibody (4H11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FUS/TLS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-FUS/TLS antibody (4H11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FUS/TLS protein, also known as heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complex component, plays a crucial role in RNA processing and transport within the nucleus. FUS/TLS protein is involved in the regulation of gene expression by binding to RNA and influencing RNA stability and localization. This function is particularly important in cellular responses to stress and during cancer development, where aberrant RNA processing can lead to oncogenic transformations. FUS/TLS protein interacts with various nuclear steroid receptors, suggesting involvement in hormone-induced transcriptional regulation. Additionally, FUS/TLS protein is implicated in chromosomal translocations that result in fusion proteins, such as EWS/Fli-1 chimeric protein, which acts as a potent transcriptional activator in Ewing sarcoma. Understanding FUS/TLS protein′s role in these processes is essential for elucidating contributions to both normal cellular function and disease mechanisms.

I got very clean and strong signal when I carried out WB  in canis cells. Recently,I try to detect mRNA level of Fus ;however, Fus have different  transcript variant product. I would like to know this antibody bind to what kind of Fus isoform.Thanks.

Is it possible to provide the exact FUS/TLS peptide sequence that was used as the epitope for the production of this antibody ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functions as expected.The antibody was used for immunofluorescence with secondary anti-mouse antibody fused with Alexa488, in osteosarcoma cell lines U2OS. In all the cell lines tested, the signal was of expected localization and intensity, observed mostly as diffuse fluorescence in the nucleus and as foci in the cytoplasm upon induced hyperosmotic stress.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from buon funzionamentoho testato questo anticorpo in western blot and immunofluorescenza in fibroblasti in coltura con risultati molto buoni. Nell'immagine allegata si può osservare l'effetto dell'anticorpo FUS su cellule 3T3 e fibroblasti umani. Inoltre, sugli gli stessi estratti è stato testato l'Ab ubiquitin (cod Santa Cruz: P4D1). Per questi tests abbiamo utilizzato un altro anticorpo Santa Cruz, il secondario m-IgGk BP-HRP. Questi tre anticorpi funzionano molto bene con un segnale pulito. Sia FUS 4H11 che Ubiquitin P4D1 funzionano anche molto bene in immunofliorescenza
