FucT-VIII Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FucT-VIII protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FucT-VIII Antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fucosyltransferase 8 (FucT-VIII) plays a critical role in the biosynthesis of fucosylated glycans, which are essential for cell-cell interactions and signaling processes. Specifically, FucT-VIII catalyzes the transfer of fucose to the innermost GlcNAc residue of N-linked oligosaccharides, forming an alpha-(1,6) linkage.
