SEE ALSO...

FRP-3 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FRP-3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FRP-3 (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FRP-3 plays a crucial role in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for various developmental processes and cellular functions, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Specifically, FRP-3 acts as a secreted antagonist that modulates the activity of Wnt proteins by binding to frizzled receptors, thereby regulating the levels of β-catenin in the cytoplasm. This regulation is vital because aberrations in Wnt signaling have been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders. FRP-3 expression is particularly high in developing tissues, highlighting its importance during embryogenesis and tissue formation. Anti-FRP-3 antibody (B-5) enables researchers to gain insights into the mechanisms of Wnt signaling and its implications in health and disease.

Are there any issues with using sc-514350: FRP-3 (B-5) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-514350 conjugates.
