SEE ALSO...

Frabin Antibody (43) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Frabin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Frabin antibody (43) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose and horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Frabin, also known as FGD1-related F-actin binding protein, plays a crucial role in cellular dynamics by acting as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for the Rho family member CDC42, which is essential for regulating cytoskeletal organization and cell signaling. The interaction between Frabin and CDC42 facilitates CDC42 activation, allowing CDC42 to toggle between active GTP-bound state and inactive GDP-bound state, thereby influencing processes such as cell growth, migration, and morphology. Frabin′s ability to bind actin filaments suggests a vital link between CDC42 signaling and the cytoskeleton, highlighting Frabin′s significance in maintaining cellular architecture and function.

Are there any issues with using sc-136333: Frabin (43) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-136333 conjugates.
