    SEE ALSO...

FOXN2 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects FOXN2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FOXN2 antibody (D-4) is available as the non-conjugated form. FOXN2, also known as Human T-cell leukemia virus enhancer factor, is a 341 amino acid protein encoded by the FOXN2 gene located on human chromosome 2p16-p22. FOXN2 plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation, particularly in the human T-cell leukemia virus long terminal repeat (HTLV-I LTR), binding to a purine-rich region essential for Ets family transcription factors activity. The forkhead domain-containing gene family, to which FOXN2 belongs, features a conserved 110 amino-acid motif forming a winged helix structure for specific DNA binding. This structural feature enables FOXN2 to act as a key regulator in various biological processes, including embryogenesis and cell lineage specification, as well as cancer progression. FOXN2′s interaction with other transcription factors highlights its importance in cellular signaling pathways and gene regulation, making anti-FOXN2 antibody (D-4) an invaluable research tool for studying these critical processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514664 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
