FOXN1 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FOXN1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FOXN1 (E-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FOXN1, also known as Transcription factor winged-nude (WHN), plays a crucial role in the development of the thymus and skin by regulating the growth and differentiation of epithelial progenitor cells into specialized thymic epithelial cells. This function is vital for proper thymus formation, which is essential for T cell development and immune system function. Mutations in FOXN1 can lead to severe immunodeficiency, as seen in nude mice and rats, which are valuable models for cancer research due to compromised immune systems. FOXN1 expression is primarily active in the skin and thymus, highlighting its importance in these tissues′ development.
