Flt-4 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Flt-4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Flt-4 antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Flt-4, also known as vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3 (VEGFR-3), plays a crucial role in lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic system development, which is essential for maintaining fluid homeostasis and immune responses. Flt-4 is primarily located on endothelial cell surfaces, particularly in lymphatic vessels, where Flt-4 mediates vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGFs) effects and regulates lymphatic endothelial cell proliferation and migration. Proper Flt-4 functioning is vital for new lymphatic vessel formation and lymphatic integrity maintenance, making Flt-4 a significant target for research in cancer metastasis and inflammatory diseases. Flt-4 interacts with VEGF-C and VEGF-D, which are key ligands that activate the receptor, further underscoring Flt-4′s importance in vascular biology and potential therapeutic applications.
